The Curious Lounge partners with DataCamp Donates to encourage diversity and inclusion in digital up-skilling.

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with DataCamp, the leading interactive learning platform for data science and analytics. The Curious Lounge will deliver 2500 training interventions each year for the next five years and now, through this partnership with DataCamp Donates, can provide free access to data literacy training. By providing opportunities to gain digital skills and connect digital tech employers to residents who may not normally have engaged, the aim of the project is to encourage diversity and inclusion in digital up-skilling. This particularly applies to mature residents (40+), women and women returners, unemployed residents and those in insecure and/or low paid work looking for career progression.

“We are extremely proud to have been chosen as a partner on the global DataCamp Donates programme and look forward to working with their partnerships team in the coming months to make content available to people in the Thames Valley looking to build their skills in this area. We will build a team of volunteer mentors to deliver in-house facilitated learning bootcamps and engage with forward-looking employers to help people find their first role in the data space.”  Matt Bovey, Content Curator at The Curious Lounge

“The Curious Lounge is a unique and special nonprofit that fills a very valuable need in its community.”
Nathaniel Taylor-Leach, Community Partnerships Manager for DataCamp Donates
